Brockley
My Eco Brockley grew from Milda and Charlie’s online shop My Eco Order which they setup during the first lockdown as way to help the community continue being sustainable from their home and not be stuck going back to single use plastics. Their aim is to create a sustainable green economy in their local area. They stock and sell locally made, sustainable products from independent businesses, providing locals with sustainable alternatives.
Forest Hill
Opened by the same people behind popular Forest Hill shop Aga's Little Deli, Beetroot & Beans is a meat-free, zero-waste shop. They have a good selection of vegetarian, vegan and fermented foods, as well as stocking plenty of refillable items like grains, nuts, spices, oils and cleaning products.
Hither Green
Founded when Alina Yilmaz started becoming increasingly despondent about the amount of plastic wrapping dominating her kitchen, Mission Green opened its doors with the aim of changing our shopping habits and helping us shop with more of a conscience. Stocking a broad range of dry foods, nuts and baking ingredients, you can also load up on various household products and they even have a stash of jars and bottles to use if you forget your own.
Lee
Shop Without Packaging is a brand new zero-waste shop, selling food, groceries and household products without packaging. Claire and Jess are two mums, who were so fed up with plastic and packaging littering streets, parks and beaches, that they decided to do something about it. Their shop’s ethos is to buy vegetarian or vegan produce that is organic and fairtrade, and they stock dried loose grains, seeds, beans, pulses and nuts housed in hygienic gravity dispensers. They also stock coffee beans, loose leaf tea, bread, fruit & veg, unwrapped bread & patisserie, cleaning products and beauty products.
